How language pairs work
During setup you choose your own language and the language you want to learn. Cards are made in that pair: type in either language and Flippin translates into the other, and you can hear both sides spoken.
The free plan uses one language pair. Changing your own language is always free; switching to another language to learn is part of Premium, and so is filtering your cards by language when you learn more than one.
Ready-made phrases in every language
All 30 preset collections (168 phrases) are available in each of the 32 languages, so they work for any pair. Eleven of them, one per topic, are free.
The app in your language
Flippin's own interface is available in 34 languages: the 32 above plus European Portuguese and Traditional Chinese, with right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Hebrew.
